Résumé
Efficient oxidation of alkanes, including methane and ethane, with H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub> in the presence of catalytic amount of an Os complex in MeCN (addition of nitrogen-containing heterocycles significantly enhances the yield of the products) or in MeCO<sub>2</sub>H gives the corresponding ketones and alcohols.
