Résumé
The analysis of verbal complementation has undergone an evolution which appears clearly in grammar books. Syntactic tests have been designed in order to distinguish nuclear complements from non nuclear ones. These tests are widely used in grammars, although it will be shown in this paper that they lack precision and require a great deal of linguistic knowledge in order to be interpreted correctly. Grammatical exercises do not focus on this knowledge but instead on the classification of complements itself. Given the importance of this classification, dictionaries need to be upgraded to take into account this grammatical evolution. It is not yet the case in a coherent way, except for Usito. This paper will show how the double analysis has been introduced into this dictionary.
