Abstract
The principle of «sound laws» is discussed from examples in greek phonetics. It is shown how analogy and the weight of grammatical paradigms may modify the regularity of sound changes and interfere with our perception of reconstructed forms or stages of language evolution. The concept of morphonology is also examined in relation with analogical processes.
