Abstract
Among the various strategies used by the adult to engage the child in a linguistic interaction, the ones of questioning occupy a central position. One of the parameters, ususally taken into account in order to differentiate the type of questions directed to the child, is the opposition between closed questions and open questions. Is this opposition always relevant? Through contrasted examples of therapist-child linguistic interactions, we will try to better understand the role of the questions of the adult by primarily analysing their effects on linguistic behavior.
