Publication and study of the artistic correspondence exchanged by Leopold Robert (1794), a Swiss painter, student of Jacques-Louis David, who became a leading Romantic painter of the French school and lived in Italy most of his life. This corr. enables us to understand the structure of the network of acquaintances made by the artist, as well as his strategies to achieve success.
