Zur Verfügbarkeit von Frauenkörpern

This article examines the topic of anorexia in young women and their coercive treatment from the perspective of legal gender studies, beginning with a literary account of their experiences that invites dialogue. Legal gender studies offer critical feminist and queer analyses that focus on the construction of bodies through gendered practices and discourses and, at the same time, strive for a better understanding of autonomy and consent.
