The SAA Series on International Arbitration contains the best graduation papers of all participants who successfully completed the post-graduate studies in international arbitration of the SAA Swiss Arbitration Academy. The papers cover different important aspects of international arbitration. The Swiss Arbitration Academy is a private institution co-founded and managed by the editors of this volume. Each year, the SAA offers and conducts an intensive and practical course in international arbitration. The training has been designed for lawyers, in-house counsels, and other professionals interested in cutting-edge international dispute resolution education. All participants who successfully complete the course, which includes the submission of the final paper, are awarded with the Certificate of Advanced Studies in Arbitration (CAS in Arbitration) and the Arbitration Practitioner title (ArbP).
Swiss Case Law in International Arbitration, 3rd revised ed., 876 pages (with Sabrina Pearson)
The third and revised edition of Swiss Case Law in International Arbitration, authored by Professor Christoph Müller and Sabrina Pearson-Wenger, presents 30 years of unreported and reported Swiss federal and cantonal case law on the Swiss arbitration act (Chapter 12 of the Private International Law Act, PILA) as well as the New York Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards (NYC). This third edition lists about 500 new cases compared to the 700 already contained in the second edition. The "holdings" of each case are listed systematically by specific issues under each Article of the PILA and the NYC making this book an indispensable guide for Swiss and foreign arbitrators, counsel as well as State courts and arbitral institutions involved with arbitrations connected to Switzerland.

Cet ouvrage présente de manière systématique les contrats les plus importants dans la pratique judiciaire suisse. Il s'agit des contrats de vente (y compris la vente internationale de marchandises), bail à loyer, entreprise, mandat (proprement dit), agence et cautionnement. L'ouvrage consacre à chacun de ces contrats entre 50 et 200 pages. Ce livre donne aussi un aperçu de la théorie des contrats innommés et traite plus particulièrement de trois d entre eux, incontournables en pratique, à savoir le contrat de leasing (y compris la loi sur le crédit à la consommation), la représentation exclusive et la transaction extra-judiciaire. La mise en page permet de distinguer aisément les aspects fondamentaux de ceux qui sont moins essentiels. Le texte est complété par une série de schémas qui résument de manière graphique les points les plus importants.

Le présent ouvrage a pour but de donner aux étudiant·e·s le goût de ce magnifique domaine qu’est le droit. Il vise à leur permettre de réaliser que (presque) toute la vie peut être appréhendée à travers le prisme du droit et que c’est une manière passionnante de voir les divers aspects de notre existence. Bienvenue donc dans le monde juridique ! Afin de mieux correspondre aux différentes dénominations des établissements scolaires romands, ce livre, paru sous le nom « Le droit pour les lycéens » a changé de titre pour sa troisième édition. Il est le fruit d’un effort collectif de nombreux membres de la Faculté de droit de l’Université de Neuchâtel qui ont su synthétiser et vulgariser avec talent une matière qui est nettement plus compliquée qu’elle n’en a l’air de prime abord. La Faculté de droit de l’Université de Neuchâtel espère ainsi pouvoir bientôt accueillir en son sein les étudiant·es·s d’aujourd’hui et les accompagner vers de brillantes carrières de juristes !
