The theory of justice which is an influential school of thought in legal theory advocates for the concept of distributive justice and the unequal distribution of wealth among the members of society due to their unequal standings. The extension of the theory of justice to the arena of international relations and to the idea which seeks the reduction of the concept of basic structure from the ideal concept of “Global Government” has resulted in the development of the concepts of “Global Governance” in structure and “International Difference Principle” as the strategy to be applied to meet the goals of the international justice-centered approach. In this theoretical context, the WTO and its trade-based policies have been adopted as the international structure and international strategy to address the problem of inequality. This research examines the numerous features and aspects of the WTO and international trade and with specific regard to the theory of justice it studies the paths which the WTO and international trade could take in order to better fulfill the requirements of the principles of justice.
