Technical Design aspects: size, design etc.

Composed of two ammonia masers controlling a quartz clock. The whole device was made out of 250 vacuum tubes, and weighed around 370 kilograms (and had to be assembled on site). The construction of the clock was realized by Oscilloquartz (Ebauches SA).
