After providing the official time at HemisFair ’68 in San Antonio, Texas, the Oscillatom embarked on a tour of Latin America before returning to Neuchâtel. Between October and November it spent several days in Venezuela (Caracas), Brazil (Brasília, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo), Peru (Lima), Uruguay (Montevideo), Argentina (Buenos Aires), and Chile (Santiago).
