Comparison of the LSRH maser with UT2 determined by the Neuchâtel Observatory, using a quartz clock as an intermediary. The quartz clock was measured periodically against the maser (dashed line) and independently against UT2 by the Observatory (solid line). Observatory values represent daily mean corrections, while each maser comparison lasted about half an hour (Bonanomi et al. 1957).
