Evolution des points d’eau dans la tourbière du cachot (Jura neuchâtelois): 2. Les creuses de pied de murs

Les creuses de pied de murs sont situées à la périphérie de la tourbière, sur le marais abaissé. Elles sont d'origine anthropique. Mises sous protection, elles ont fait l'objet d'un suivi depuis plus de trente ans dans la tourbière du Cachot (coordonnées 541200 206350). Deux facteurs principaux influencent leurs transformations : <br>• L'éboulement des murs de tourbe qui dominent les stations. <br>• L' envahissement des creuses par Carex rostrata et Sphagnum spp. <br> Le boisement du marais abaissé modifie les conditions écologiques dans les stations étudiées., These waterholes are situated at the periphery of the peat bog. They have been studied in detail in 1969. A new survey has been made in 1999, that has showed some changes caused by two factors: <br>• The filling of the pits by fallen peat cutting faces. <br>• The invasion of the ponds by Carex rostrata and Sphagnum spp. <br> The growing of the birch - and pine trees over the exploited peat bog also modifies the ecological conditions in the ponds.
