Abstract
The goal of this research is to examine if some differences exist between the motherese of the mothers of child with specific language disorder and child with standard development. The observation concerns two groups of mothers. The first one is composed of five dyades mother - child with specific language disorder. The age of the children were comprised between 3 and 5 years. All are schooled in an ordinary school of French-speaking in Belgium. The second group is composed of five dyades mother - child having a language standard development coming from French-speaking Belgium. Each mother was invited to tell a story to her child and then to tell some elements of life to an investigator. Data were analysed on acoustic, lexical, morphosyntactic, pragmatic and gestural levels while comparing the two groups of mothers and the two experimental situations. The relative results to these analyses will be presented in this article and will be discussed then in reference to data of the literature.
