Abstract
The title dinuclear ruthenium complex, [Ru<sub>2</sub> (C<sub>5</sub>H<sub>19</sub>NO)<sub>2</sub> (C<sub>18</sub>H<sub>15</sub>P)<sub>2</sub> (CO)<sub>4</sub>], has been synthesized from Ru<sub>3</sub> (CO)<sub>12</sub>, pivalamide and triphenylphosphine. The structure shows a Ru<sub>2</sub> (CO)<sub>4</sub> sawhorse backbone with the two OCNH bridges being transoid with respect to each other.
