Abstract
The title dinuclear Ru complex was synthesized from Ru3(CO)12, pivalamide and PPh3. Crystals of the complex are monoclinic, space group P21/c, with a 15.5453(12), b 17.5491(14), c 18.1924(12) Å, ? 108.262(8)°; Z = 4, dc = 1.464; R = 0.034, Rw(F2) = 0.068 for 8729 reflections. The structure shows a Ru2(CO)4 sawhorse backbone with the two OCNH bridges being transoid with respect to each other. [on SciFinder(R)]
