“Sentir callando”: las poesías funerales de Cervantes

Este trabajo examina la serie de poesías funerales sueltas de Cervantes, que abarca un ciclo cortesano por la muerte de Isabel de Valois, un homenaje a Herrera y un díptico seriocómico a Felipe II, galería hermanada con los epitafios de las novelas que, sin embargo, debe estudiarse separadamente. En conjunto, muestran la naturaleza circunstancial e interesada de la poética cervantina, al tiempo que ofrecen claves de interés sobre su arte y permiten perfilar las ideas de Cervantes sobre algunos personajes de su entorno con el rey al frente. Como coda se examinan otros dos sonetos atribuidos a Cervantes. / This work deals with the serie of funeral unleashed poems by Cervantes, which covers a courtesan cycle for the death of Isabel of Valois, a tribute to Herrera and a serious-comic diptych to Philip II, a gallery related to the epitaphs of the novels which, nevertheless, should by studied separately. Together, they shows the circunstancial and interested nature of the cervantine poetics, as well as offers some interesant keys about his art and allows to outline Cervantes’ ideas about some surrounding characters and specially about Philip II. To conclude, the cervantine autorship of two sonnets is discussed.
