Ludwig Klages Klee graphologie
Abstract
During the years that Klee studied there, Munich became the German center of graphology research. The dominant personality of the sciences of expression, at this time, in Germany, was the philosopher and graphologist, Ludwig Klages, who had given new impetus to this domain of research, since the turn of the century. His works on graphology would serve as an important reference for the theory of art developed later by Klee at the Bauhaus. The journal and the manuscripts of Klee’s courses demonstrate the keen interest that the artist assigned to graphology.
