Abstract
This paper presents the evolution of dialogical involvment of a young child between 1;6 to 2;3 years old. This evolution is considered through the development of contingency and the types of dialogical moves produced by the child in different situations of family life. At the same time, stress is put on the fact that these dialogical situations are heterogenous and do not suppose always a perfect joint attention format. Dialogical development cannot be considered as a linear evolution . The child has to learn also to participate in imperfect situations and to cope with the uncertainties of the joint construction of meaning.
