Abstract
This article focuses on the socio-spatial implications of CCTV in urban public space. It reveals how the fact that CCTV has become banal challenges and reshapes sensory experiences of the city for both the watchers and the watched. To do so, the paper draws upon empirical insights into CCTV of street prostitution in the Swiss City of Olten.
