Résumé
The synthesis and liq.-cryst. properties of a first-generation dendritic core substituted with six mesomorphic ferrocene units are reported; the investigated compd. exhibited a broad enantiotropic smectic A phase (polarized optical microscopy, DSC, and XRD studies) and good thermal stability (thermogravimetry).
